Fiends strike Fingal

Thiefs have broken into a green van and stolen cell phones, wallets, clothes and even beach towels at a  Fingal beach car park  this morning.

The robbery occured between six and seven thirty in the morning while the vehicle’s owners were in the water surfing the popular  break.

This is becoming  commonplace around surfing beaches on the Gold Coast according to Logan Hurford, owner of the vehicle.

“I’ve heard of  this sort of thing happening on the (Gold) Coast around the Spit and Snapper, but I’m surprised for it to happen in the small town of Fingal,” he said.
